Sixers Sign Elton Brand to a 5 Year deal and, in turn, fill the team's biggest need.Assuming Iggy re-ups with the team (which for all intents and purposes he should), the starting 5 looks like this:

PF Elton Brand
C Sammy Dalembert
That's a strong starting 5 and, while trying to be as impartial as I can, I think that they should be able to compete with any team in the East. To really get from the 7th seed in 2007 to one of the top East teams, a number of things have to happen. I'll discuss what I think of the team and what each player needs to do to get to the next level in order to get the 6ers back to the Finals for the first time since the original AI carried our team there in 2001.
